This vessel served 1892-1899 and 1930-1965 at the Fladen station, and 1909-1929 at the Grisbådarna station.
The Lightship No. 29 FLADEN is a lightvessel built in 1915 and now a museum ship moored at the Maritiman Marine Museum in Gothenburg, Sweden.
She was replaced in 1969 by an anchored buoy.

1895. Active; focal plane 22 m (72 ft); white or green light, depending
on direction, occulting three times, separated by 2 s, every 12 s.
20 m (66 ft) round cylindrical brick tower with lantern and gallery
rising from the front of a 2-story brick Imperial-style building.

This lighthouse stands at the northeastern entrance of the
Nord-Ostsee Kanal. Since
1895, this 98.7 km (61.3 mi) canal has provided a shortcut between
the North Sea and the Baltic Sea via Kiel.


On April 30th, 1974, the beacon located on the Maritim Strandhotel in Travemünde went into operation. This orientation guide for seafarers has since been blinking at an elevation of 115 metres, making it the highest ligthouse in all of Europe.
